International Day To Combat Islamophobia
he UN has adopted a landmark resolution introduced by Pakistan, on behalf of OIC, designating 15 March as International Day to Combat Islamophobia. United Nations General Assembly UNGA on Tuesday 15th March 2022 adopted a resolution introduced by Pakistan on behalf of OIC proclaims that 15th March will be celebrated as a a day to Combat Islamophobia each year World International Day. This resolution was sponsored by 57 countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation and eight other countries including China and Russia . Imran Khan Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated the Muslim World on this development at UN level. Previously Pakistan has declared last year to celebrate this day.
