154 Posts of Deputy Accounts announced by PPSC in February 2019 in Finance Department by Government of Punjab. Deputy Accountant job's nature is related with accounts but Qualification required for the post of Deputy Accountant is BA as announced in advertisement but the candidates who are having degrees of accounts related shown their concerns over the qualification and even some people approached Prime Minister of Pakistan over citizen portal for changing the required qualification.
Punjab Public Service Commission has advertised this post on recommendation of Finance Department and department follows the service rules for any job to be advertised . So Finance Department , Government of Punjab has decided to revise the service Rules regarding qualification of Deputy Accountant, so there are chances that qualification for the said post my be set to B.Com instead of B.A. PPSC has already withheld the recruitment process of the Deputy Accountant (Check Press Release here)
