Higher Education Commission HEC has announced MS/Phil leading to PHD Overseas Scholarships for the students of Balochistan under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan AHBP Package.. Applications are only invited from candidates having local/domicile certificates of Balochistan for award of scholarships for postgraduate students in overseas countries leading universities .
Eligibility Criteria for HEC scholarships for Students of Balochistan Batch 4
A. Applicants must have domicile / local certificate of Balochistan.
B. At least two certificates / degrees must have been studies and obtained from HEC recognized Universities /DAIs located in Balochistan Province.
C. Maximum age limit on closing date of receipt of applications :-
- 40 years for full time regular faculty members of public sector universities /colleges and employees of Public Sector Research and Development R & D organization.
- 35 years for those having MS/Mphil (18 years) degree qualification and applying for PHD program.
- 30 years for those having MA/MSc/Bachelors ( 16 Years) degree and applying for MS/MPhil leading to PHD programme.
D. For MS/MPhil leading to PhD the candidate must have completed 16 years education or equivalent degree (Bachelors/Masters)
E. For Direct PhD the candidate must have completed 18 years of education or equivalent degree (MS/MPhil)
F. For admission in masters candidates must have completed 14 years of education with 50% marks
G. 3rd Division or less than 45% marks in any degree /certificate during the entire academic career is not acceptable. The candidates applying for PhD should have a minimum of CGPA 3.0 out 4.O in semester system or 1st Division in Annual system MS/MPhil or equivalent qualification
H. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and district quota subject to the availability of seats of respective district

A. Scholarships will be awarded on merit and District /Agency Quota
B. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Aptitude Test conducted by HEC and academic credentials scores.
